Ever prayed for healing and wondered why the struggle remains?
I know how it feels to love God, believe in prayer, and still feel stuck. My own healing from anxiety, depression, fear, and addiction didn’t come from trying harder or collecting more information. It began when I learned to hear God’s voice and let Him show me what was beneath the symptoms I was fighting.
Today, I’m a Spirit-led healing coach, licensed minister, author, speaker, and host of the Heal with God podcast. I help Christians see the symptom as a signal, not the conclusion, and partner with God to heal what’s underneath it—so they can stop managing what Jesus died to heal.

For years, I knew Scripture, attended church, served faithfully, and believed in the power of prayer. But I still struggled with anxiety, depression, fear, rejection, addiction, and self-hatred.
I knew Jesus promised freedom. I just couldn’t understand why I wasn’t experiencing it.
The turning point wasn’t finding another way to manage my symptoms. It was learning to slow down, hear God’s voice, and let Him show me what was underneath them—the wounds I carried, the lies I believed, and the truth He wanted me to receive.
God didn’t shame me or rush me. He patiently walked me through healing, one conversation and one layer at a time. As I learned to recognize His voice and respond to what He revealed, I began experiencing the freedom that once felt impossible.
That journey became the heart of Heal with God. I don’t teach this from theory. I help others walk through the same kind of personal, Spirit-led healing with God that changed my life.

I believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He died on the cross and rose again so that, through repentance and faith in Him, we can receive salvation and be restored to a relationship with God.
Through the Holy Spirit, believers are invited into a real, personal relationship with God—one where we can recognize His voice, receive His truth, and experience His healing.
Healing isn’t about becoming “spiritual enough,” striving harder, or following a rigid formula. It’s about trusting God enough to slow down, listen, and allow Him to lead us into truth and freedom.
Everything I share through my coaching, books, podcast, and teaching is grounded in Scripture and centered on Jesus.
I’ve attended Abundant Life Church of God since the seventh grade. Over the years, I served as nursery director for a decade, and today I teach an adult Sunday school class, teach children on Wednesday nights, and lead a women’s small group.
I’m also a licensed minister through Kingdom Equipping Ministries, with a focus on biblical teaching and helping believers hear God’s voice and heal with Him.
What began in my own relationship with God has grown beyond the walls of my local church. Today, I coach Christians through the healing process, host the Heal with God podcast, lead free monthly workshops, and write practical, faith-filled books that help people apply God’s truth to their everyday struggles.
My books include Heal with God, No Fear Allowed, Supernatural Weight Loss, The Journey of Healing from Injustices, and But How?
And because God’s path rarely looks the way we expect, I also have a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Apparently, He can use both spreadsheets and Scripture.

I’m married to Jason O’Brien, the love of my life, and together we have three amazing boys. I’m also a homeschooling mom, which means most days include some interesting combination of Bible study, school lessons, coaching conversations, podcast recordings, and figuring out what everyone is going to eat—again.
When I’m not coaching, writing, or talking into a microphone, you’ll usually find me serving at church, spending time with my family, or sitting somewhere with my Bible, a notebook, and a cup of coffee.
I’m not sharing from a perfectly polished life where I have everything figured out. I’m still learning, listening, healing, and walking with God too. That’s why I want every person who enters the Heal with God community to feel like they’ve found a safe place to be honest, slow down, and hear from God without pretending they’re fine.
Proverbs 3:5
I send encouragement, podcast episodes, and prayers every Monday. Let’s do this healing journey together.

The symptom may be a signal, not the conclusion.
Come hear God about what’s beneath the struggle and discover your next step toward healing.
